As parents of a child with special needs, we were among the 2.7% of individuals providing care to a child under eleven years old with fair to poor health. For those who do have insurance, insurance does not always cover the cost of travel, meals, and other expenses incurred as parents facilitate the delivery of care to their special needs’ child. 

Financial challenges can also negatively impact a parent’s ability to make an informed healthcare decision. While Jayden’s Hidden Treasures Inc. will not solve the financial challenges associated with meeting the needs of a severely ill child, we do hope to lighten the burden and provide a bit of assistance.
